John Cena challenges The Undertaker on WWE Raw

Bengaluru, February 27: It is that time of the year when The Undertaker shows up in WWE. The Wrestlemania season officially kicked off last night on WWE Monday Night Raw with no more PPV events left for the flagship before the biggest event of the year. So, the anticipation is high with the Undertaker’s potential return to the company.
Speaking of this brings us to the inevitable showdown between John Cena and The Undertaker. Despite spending decades in this company, the two have never competed in a singles match which is why the audience highly anticipate for this dream match. An update was made on this situation on last night’s WWE Raw.
John Cena came out to the ring to talk on the loss that he suffered at the Elimination Chamber. He worsened his situation by stating the following, “That’s because failure is tough. And judging by the sound in this arena tonight, you can tell that you go through failure alone.” Furthermore, he also noted that for the first time in 15 years, he is not having a match at Wrestlemania.
But, at the same time, he is not someone who would stay down. Hence, he issued a huge Wrestlemania challenge to The Undertaker. This received a huge reaction from the Anaheim crowd. However, the bad news is that no one is aware of Taker’s status recently. So, the officials informed him that this match was impossible.
Now, this was told from a storyline perspective to the fans. By virtue of this, the creative team kept on playing mind-games with the fans who are still confused about whether The Undertaker is retired or not. But, this rivalry was mentioned for the first-time on live TV which means its a first positive hint of the match.
However, for now, John Cena will move to the Smackdown brand where he is expected to find a new opponent for the biggest event of the year if the Deadman is not available. The franchise player is also being advertised for the Fastlane PPV which indicates that he will compete on the March 11th PPV. This is what WWE.com had to offer on Cena moving to the blue brand, tonight,
“Monday night on Raw, Cena defiantly claimed that he will never give up in his quest to make it to New Orleans. The free agent declared that he would be heading to SmackDown LIVE tonight to take advantage of The Land of Opportunity that Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan have created. But just how does Cena intend to make sure his Road to WrestleMania runs through SmackDown LIVE?”
