Kurt Angle makes huge announcement on Elimination Chamber match

Bengaluru, February 14: The main event of the past edition of WWE Raw was the last qualifier for the men’s division Elimination Chamber match. With five slots already being filled up there was just one spot remaining.

To determine the same, a fatal-4-way match was confirmed, last week featuring Bray Wyatt, Woken Matt Hardy, Apollo Crews and Finn Balor.

Later, Seth Rollins was added to the mix to make it a fatal-5-way affair. This caused an utter chaos to end the show without a definite outcome in the match. Apparently, Rollins and Balor pulled up Bray Wyatt and planted him with a powerbomb, at the same time and also pinned the eater of the world together.

This made the referee to declare both of them as the winners. So, we did not get the final winner of the contest and the sixth participant of the Elimination Chamber. The two of them continued to argue with each other as the show went off the air on who is the rightful owner of the sixth Chamber spot.

Kurt Angle had to solve the matter in a unique way via social media. On a video posted on Facebook, he stated that both the winners will get a chance to compete at the Elimination Chamber match which means that it will be the very first seven-man match inside the structure.

No doubt this announcement creates history as we are used to seeing only six superstars compete inside the Elimination Chamber till now. Two of them start the match whereas the rest of the four are locked inside the four pods. Now, with both Balor and Rollins being included, the rules are definitely going to change.

It might happen that instead of two, the match will start under triple threat rules. Or, both Finn and Seth might be locked in the same pod unless a special structure gets built with five pods inside it.

And it is very likely that the Women’s Elimination Chamber match will have one additional competitor, as well. The reason behind this is the same structure will be used in both the matches. More info on this will be received during the go-home episode of WWE Raw, that is next week.
