Bengaluru, August 14: Kurt Angle returned to the WWE as part of this year's Hall of Fame ceremony. He was the first inductee of the year 2017 to enter the elite club. The WWE Universe was thrilled to learn about his comeback. However, they were disappointed a bit since he was not brought back to perform in matches.
To assure his fans, he went on record in numerous interviews stating that he will be back into the squared circle once again for a match. But, till date, no such feud was organized for him and chances of seeing him in action for Summerslam were washed away.
The ongoing storyline around Kurt Angle resulted him to reveal that Jason Jordan is his lost son. An upcoming angle with Triple H was also in the process. But, the WWE fans need not worry since he will soon be involved in another angle.
According to the Dirty Sheets reports, The Miz will be the one to feud with him in the near future. The storyline has already begun by hosting a segment between Miz and Jason Jordan a couple of weeks ago on Raw. This is set to continue as the rivalry builds stronger leading to a match in the future.
Jordan will eventually get his Intercontinental Championship match against The Miz at Summerslam. He might not win the title on that night. But, sooner the Miz will drop it to the younger superstar to go ahead to blame his dad for this.
This will then lead to a match between Kurt Angle and The Miz at the last dual brand PPV of the year, Survivor Series. Prior to that, we will be getting numerous entertaining segments between these two in order to build up the rivalry.
Last year, Goldberg was the bonus feature of WWE 2K18 and returned to in-ring competition at the same PPV. This year, Kurt Angle is in the same position and hence his in-ring return during the November event looks more evident.
This would be a similar feud that The Miz had with Daniel Bryan on Smackdown last year. Due to Bryan's inability to return to in-ring action, the match never came to fruition. But, Kurt Angle is still medically fit to compete and so would be a tough competition for the Hollywood A-lister.
