Latest on Stephanie McMahon’s WWE return status after 2024 Draft appearance
Despite her recent absence, Stephanie McMahon remains a significant figure in the sports entertainment industry for her contribution to the WWE's success in various roles, over the years. With her dedication to work, she essentially influenced many and thereby got acknowledged by renowned outlets.
When Vince McMahon stepped away from his CEO position, she positively impacted the WWE corporate structure in the co-CEO position. But those good days didn't last long as Vince returned after a few months to show her daughter the doors.

However, Stephanie McMahon's unexpected return at WrestleMania 40 and then during the WWE Draft has stirred curiosity about her current status within the company as many do expect her to make further appearances on TV.
During the latest Q&A session on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about this and he affirmed that there are no current plans for McMahon to return in a permanent capacity, "There weren't any plans of it but she was welcomed back from people backstage."
Fightful Select previously reported that The Billion Dollar Princess' WrestleMania 40 segment was internally listed as a Triple H promo on Night Two which means that WWE wanted to host it in a surprising capacity.
"The Stephanie McMahon promo was kept very quiet internally and was actually listed as a Triple H promo on the run sheets. She was welcomed backstage by many and has long had a positive reputation within the company."
For the first time since her leave from the WWE in early 2023, Stephanie was seen on live television during WrestleMania XL weekend's Hall of Fame ceremony which was a pleasant surprise for the audience.
On that night, she was seen seated next to her husband Triple H, the WWE Chief Content Officer, wearing a hat with the ECW logo attached, similar to one she wore when she became the on-screen owner of the brand during the Invasion angle in 2001.
Then the WrestleMania appearance came together to kick things off on Night Two followed by WWE Draft Night Two. For the time being, it seems that a permanent return for Stephanie McMahon to WWE television isn't likely.
