Matt Hardy to debut his Broken gimmick on WWE Raw

Bengaluru, November 29: The WWE Universe was overwhelmed with the return of The Hardy Boyz during this year’s Wrestlemania. They set the crowd alight by showing up out of nowhere.

In addition, the legendary Team Extreme also captured the tag team championships for the seventh time in the WWE on that night and it marked a triumphant return for them after several years.

However, the fans complained on social media why they did not see the Broken gimmick to one of the brothers’ characters. This was a transitioned role for the two with Matt Hardy being the leader with the Broken tag attached prior to his name. He used to do crazy antics in this role while he was with with TNA Impact Wrestling promotion.

The banner claimed the rights of this gimmick after Hardy left the promotion and signed a deal with the WWE. This tug of war was the main reason as to why we haven't seen the weird Matt Hardy on WWE Raw, till now.

However, with the recent events on the show, we will not have to wait for a long time to see this. According to wrestlingnews.co.in, the final declaration will be made by the court on December 19th and if no one protests over the decision then Matt Hardy will be the rightful owner of the Broken gimmick on WWE Raw.

He gave a certain hint of things to come on this week’s Monday Night Raw, as well. Bray Wyatt featured in a match against him. Despite the efforts, the elder hardy fell victim to the eerie superstar via a Sister Abigail move and lost the contest. As he was on a losing run, Matt Hardy started acting bizarre on live TV.

This led to a 'Delete’ chant by the fans which is known for for the Broken gimmick. Also, the WWE commentator, Michael Cole mentioned that hardy has reached a breaking point. With that being said, it’s just a matter of time that WWE Raw will be graced by the transitioned superstar that the pro-wrestling universe has always wanted to see.
