Since the 2023 summer, Mercedes Mone has been considered to be one of the top free agents in the world of professional wrestling. Following her injury in Japan, her comeback to the squared circle remains a topic of discussion for the pro-wrestling fans.
Now that it's almost certain that the former Sasha Banks in the WWE is heading to All Elite Wrestling, next week, she decided to revisit the days in the previously Vince McMahon-owned company alongside her infamous exit.

Mone walked out of WWE back in May 2022 with Naomi at a time when the two were the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions. She was frustrated amid creative directions in the company and her position in the women's division.
Almost, two years since that incident has passed by and nobody got to know the exact happening from that night. Theories regarding Mone's departure keep on coming from sources and she decided to address that situation on the Kick Rocks Wrestling Podcast.
"Something told me I needed to do this & stand up for myself. It was a very hard decision because wrestling in WWE has been my whole life, hardest decision I've ever had to make in my whole life but it's the most proudest."
Tons of controversies were there regarding a top WWE Superstar like Sasha Banks walking out of a live edition of Raw which also caused changes to the main event of the night. But she sounded seemingly happy with her actions.
"All I know is that I handled it like a CEO, like the boss that I am, with my head held up high & I can't say nothing but amazing things to WWE, so thankful for the career they gave me."
Mone always wanted to be an all-star attraction and WWE's restrictions especially under the McMahon-regime seemed unbearable to her. She eventually joined NJPW to become the highest-paid wrestler in the Japan promotion in 2023 January.
All Elite Wrestling will host the much-anticipated "Big Business" Dynamite edition, next Wednesday night March 13 at the iconic TD Garden in Boston which also happens to be the home city for Mercedes Mone.
That being said, it makes perfect sense for the former WWE Women's Champion to arrive at AEW. During the conversation with Evan T Mack on the aforementioned podcast she herself teased it by stating, "I've been making some 'Big Business moves."
