For the first time, Money in the Bank is heading outside the United States in the city of Toronto and a legend from that region would be attending the show. It would be none other than Toronto's own Trish Stratus.
Previously, the arguably greatest of all time in WWE's women's division history intended to be part of the Money in the Bank ladder match in her hometown but that won't be the case as she is booked for some other purpose.

The 7-time Women's Champion took to her Instagram stories to announce that she would be part of WWE Money in the Bank PLE pre-show festivities in Toronto, as part of her "Bad Girl Tour."
Trish will be doing an in-venue hospitality appearance before the PLE this Saturday. Apart from a solo appearance as part of the Gold Ticket package, she would be accompanying World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest as part of the Elite Ticket package.
This appearance at Money in the Bank will be Trish Stratus' first WWE collaboration since her lengthy program with Becky Lynch, last summer. Their feud culminated in a steel cage match at WWE Payback, which Trish lost.
This match was supposed to be a farewell for the legendary WWE Superstar from in-ring action. However, she recently admitted her desire to become an eight-time champion in the company, making her intentions clear for further comebacks.
Time will tell whether this appearance at Money in the Bank will drag her back to WWE programming for a future storyline. Meanwhile, the current female talent having Trish Stratus-esque potential, Tiffany Stratton is the favorite to win the Money in the Bank ladder match.
