Nikki Bella made WWE return to promote Dancing With The Stars

Bengaluru, September 13: Nikki Bella is on a hiatus from the WWE after the neck injury she suffered back in 2015 which required a surgery, last year and will never allow her to wrestle inside the squared circle on a full-time basis.

Although she has hinted to make a return to the company, there is no guarantee as to when we could see her back on live WWE TV again.

During her time-off from WWE, she is quite busy with other TV schedules, the Total Bellas season 2 has already started airing on the E Network whereas the seventh season of Total Divas is also in the making.

Plus, Nikki Bella is set to feature in the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars reality tv series that will go on air from the September 18th.

To promote the show that revolves around prominent faces fighting it out on the dance floor, Nikki made a surprise return to WWE Raw. We could not see her appearance on live TV since it was an off-air incident. This had no connection with WWE storyline and there was no requirement for it either.

During one of the breaks from Monday’s show, the longest reigning Divas Champion in WWE history came out in front of the audience and she was accompanied by her partner from Dancing With the Stars, Artem Chigvintsev.

The 25th season of the show will air on the ABC Network from next Monday (September 18) onwards that is in the same slot that WWE Raw airs on the USA Network.

After making it known to the crowd of the same at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, Nikki hit her partner with a body-slam before posing with her fiancée, John Cena’s signature, the 5-knuckle shuffle.

After this segment, Nikki also joined Titus Worldwide at the backstage area. In the footage released by WWE, we could see Titus, Apollo Crews, and Akira Tozawa wishing her all the best for her dancing career.
