NXT Deadline 2024: Championship Match; New Iron Survivor Challengers Set For WWE PLE

The NXT Championship match for the Deadline 2024 edition, set for next month, has been confirmed following the latest weekly episode of NXT on the USA Network, which featured a contender's match that also disbanded a faction.

In the main event of the November 19 episode of NXT, Ridge Holland defeated Andre Chase to become the new Number-One Contender for the NXT Championship and hence he would get his title shot at Deadline PLE.

Per the stipulation of the bout, Andre Chase can no longer function with Chase University, and as such, he would have to stop working with group members Riley Osborne, Thea Hail, and Duke Hudson.

With the Chase U students surrounding the ring, Chase put up a valiant effort toward the end of the match but a miscommunication prevailed after Osborne accidentally took Hail out while going for a dive on Holland.

Chase hit a middle rope powerbomb for a near-fall, but ultimately, he got caught up with the Redeemer (implant DDT) from Holland to come up short. Chase was in tears looking at his students to close this week's NXT.

In more news for the annual Deadline PLE, three more wrestlers have qualified for the headliner Iron Survivor Challenge match in the form of Nathan Frazer, Zaria, and Stephanie Vaquer as they managed to pick up wins in their respective qualifiers.

In the opening match of the November 19 episode of NXT, the NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer defeated Eddy Thorpe to qualify for the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge after hitting Thorpe with a Phoenix Splash.

In the second match of the night, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Jaida Parker to qualify for the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge. This came after Lola Vice distracted Parker from the ringside area, allowing Vaquer to connect with her package neckbreaker combo finisher.

Later, on the show, Zaria defeated Wren Sinclair to qualify for the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge. Zaria's monstrous push continues on NXT as she pinned Sinclair with an F-5 despite Charley Dempsey's presence in the corner of Sinclair.

The 2024 WWE NXT Deadline premium live event takes place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The currently confirmed match card for the final WWE NXT PLE of the year goes as follows:
