Continuing the tradition of the past several years, the final WWE premium live event of this calendar year will be occurring exactly a month from now under the NXT banner in the form of the returning Deadline show.
As confirmed during last night's episode of NXT by the general manager Ava, the WWE NXT Deadline 2024 edition will emanate from Minneapolis, Minnesota on Saturday, December 7 at the historic Minneapolis Armory arena.

In an in-ring announcement, Ava also declared the return of the trademark main event for Deadline PLEs, the Iron Survivor Challenge to determine the new number-one contenders to the NXT or NXT Women's Championships.
Starting from 2022, Deadline PLE always had Iron Survivor Challenge matches as headliners where superstars to have scored the highest points within the time limit of 25-minute, are declared to be the winners and they also get future title match opportunities.
Trick Williams and Blair Davenport were the 2023 Iron Survivor Challenge winners, while Grayson Waller and Roxanne Perez won the inaugural Iron Survivor Challenge matches in 2022. Half of these names have gone on to become new champions.
While no official matches of superstars have been announced for the 2024 Deadline PLE, the qualifying matches for the Iron Survivor Challenge bouts will begin on the Tuesday, November 12 WWE NXT episode.
Going by the current storyline perspective of NXT programming, other possible matches for Deadline could be NXT Champion Trick Williams defending his title against Ridge Holland after getting pinned by Holland in a tag team contest.
NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez was also pinned by Zaria in the 10-woman tag team main event of the latest bygone ECW tribute show which should set up a title match between the two. For the time being, next week's NXT match card goes as follows:
