WWE is all set to kick things off in style around the summer with a triple header weekend with NXT Heatwave premium live event being the last one in the schedule on Sunday night which will have a tag team match at the kick-off pre-show.
This new match from the women's division has been announced on the latest episode of WWE NXT where Arianna Grace and Karmen Petrovic will team up to take on Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx.

An angle was shown on NXT that helped set things up for the match at Heatwave. Petrovic was trying to cheer up Grace in a backstage segment following the latter's loss to Sol Ruca, last week.
Jayne and Nyx walked into that segment and started taunting both of these women. Petrovic then proceeded to challenge Nyx to a match later in the night and that match eventually took place.
Nyx won the contest despite Petrovic dominating after Jayne caused a distraction from outside the ring. As Petrovic turned her attention to neutralize Jayne, Nyx connected with a modified Pele Kick to secure the pin-fall win.
After this match, another backstage segment aired on NXT where the General Manager Ava told Petrovic about the match at Heatwave. Grace then entered Ava's office and revealed herself to be Petrovic's partner, and the latter wasn't thrilled about this combination.
Last week, Grace lost her shot at the WWE NXT Women's North American Championship by losing a contender's match to Sol Ruca and since then she's complaining on social media about her misfortune. Now, she has a chance to gain back the momentum.
The 2024 WWE NXT Heatwave 2024 premium live event takes place this Sunday, July 7 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as part of a triple-header weekend at the venue with Smackdown and Money in the Bank. The match card for the show goes as follows:
