Less than two weeks away from happening in the WWE calendar, the next premium live event under the NXT banner received multiple matches on the card during the latest episode of the show aired on the USA Network.
TNA Wrestling promotion's Joe Hendry will challenge Ethan Page for the WWE NXT Championship at No Mercy in a cross-brand matchup after he ended up winning a number-one contender's bout on the latest episode of NXT.

The contender's match also involved Pete Dunne and Wes Lee, with Page being on commentary for the contest. Trick Williams paved the way for Hendry's win as he took out Dunne with a Trick Shot, allowing Hendry to secure the pin-fall win.
The referee never watched the happening as he was busy dealing with Page who tried to stop Hendry from getting the big W that has now set him up for perhaps the biggest match of his career, to date at No Mercy.
Also on NXT, this week, Jaida Parker won a gauntlet match and earned a shot at Roxanne Perez's Women's Championship at No Mercy. Parker survived Sol Ruca, Wren Sinclair, Adriana Rizzo, Kendal Grey, and Brinley Reece on her way to win the match.
Karmen Petrovic was scheduled to be a part of the match but she never got to participate after being attacked by Izzi Dame in the NXT parking lot. Parker then pinned Ruca, the last to capture her title shot at the upcoming WWE PLE.
Former NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer & Axiom will get their rematch for the title at No Mercy as they will challenge Chase U's Andre Chase & Ridge Holland for the titles.
This match was announced after Axiom and Frazer defeated Chase University's Duke Hudson and Riley Osbourne in a tag team match in the opening segment of NXT. For the time being, the challengers are back on the same page after having some recent issues.
The North American Championship will be on the line at No Mercy, with Oba Femi defending the title against Tony D'Angelo. NXT GM Ava confirmed the match after Tony challenged Femi and also attacked him from behind on last night's show.
The 2024 WWE NXT No Mercy premium live event takes place on Sunday, September 1 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado and it will air at 7 PM ET over the WWE Network/Peacock.
