NXT No Mercy 2024: Giulia Makes Debut In WWE Confronting Champion

Proving the speculations true, Giulia has arrived in the WWE on NXT No Mercy premium live event which should essentially change the landscape of the women’s division of the company’s third brand in the coming weeks as it prepares for a shift to CW Network.

In one of the co-main-events of the 2024 edition of No Mercy that took place at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, Roxanne Perez (c) defeated Jaida Parker to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

In her first attempt to retrieve the women’s title at No Mercy, Parker put up a great fight but her taped-up ribs were targeted by the champion. After sending Parker ribs-first through the ring barricade, Perez hit two Pop-Rox finishers for the win.

Perez was celebrating her title win when the lights went out. A new music started playing, as Giulia made her NXT debut, coming out of the smoke. She entered the ring and confronted Perez, who held the NXT Women’s Championship to end the segment.

Rumours of Giulia coming to the NXT scene have been running rampant after her signing news was confirmed, this spring, following which she also made an appearance in the crowd at NXT Stand & Deliver PLE in April.

It was then revealed in July that her last scheduled match in Japan would be on August 19 in which she defeated Mai Sakurai in Korakuen Hall. It was followed by an exhibition gauntlet match featuring the Marigold female roster members.

WWE itself dropped tease of Giulia making her debut at No Mercy during the go-home episode of NXT, this past Wednesday night when a mystery persona confronted both Perez and Parker to receive threats from them.

Giulia picked up fame in wrestling after jumping ship to Stardom where she became a one-time World of Stardom Champion and won both the 2020 Cinderella tournament & the 2022 5 Star Grand Prix.
