Potential plan for the Miz and his Intercontinental Championship in WWE

Bengaluru, August 27: The Miz interrupted a big moment on WWE Raw, this past Monday Night when he decided to step into the face-off between John Cena and Roman Reigns.

Despite these two franchise players standing inside the ring, he stole the spotlight with his mic-work. He is quite famous for cutting promos but this time the comments appeared to be a direct shot at the WWE officials.

This led to the rumours that suggested the Intercontinental Champion is unhappy with his position in the company. Later, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer noted the topic stating that The Miz is frustrated about how his match at Summerslam turned out to be.

As initially believed, he was supposed to defend his championship against Jason Jordan. But that was called off since Jordan was not ready to step into a championship match, just yet.

This made the 'Hollywood A-lister' furious since his title remained the only one undefended at the biggest event of the summer. He also blamed the GM, Kurt Angle for that.

In addition, removal of the title match pushed his tag team match against the Hardy Boyz to the kick-off show and the match was contested in nearly an empty arena. The fans were not allowed to enter the Barclays Center till the kick-off show started was the sole reason behind this.

However, going forward, The Miz is supposed to get a bigger feud, this time around in the name of Samoa Joe. It was revealed by the source stating that this was the reason why Joe volunteered himself to be The Miz’s partner on Raw. But, they lost the match which might help to brew the storyline from the next episode.

The feud seems of interest when you consider the fact that both of these two superstars are heels on the main roster. So, Samoa Joe might turn into a face once this rivalry officially begins. The Miz has a born-heel persona and so, the creative might not want to change his character.
