Revealed: Potential WWE Raw Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania 34

Bengaluru, March 5: Unlike the Universal Championship match which was finalized at Elimination Chamber, the WWE Raw women's championship match for Wrestlemania is yet to be determined. There's still some confusion regarding it even after we have a Royal Rumble winner and a reigning champion present on the flagship brand.

This is due to the storyline confusion made by the creative team. Asuka won the Royal Rumble match in the women's division and it was for the first time ever in their history. This earned her the chance to challenge a champion of her choice. But, she is yet to decide on her opponent, till now.

Besides this, Nia Jax was also added into the mix, which is why there are some speculations whether she will also get a chance for the championship, as well. At the bygone Elimination Chamber PPV, Nia received a chance to beat Asuka and earn herself a title shot but she failed to do so and continued attacking her for the coveted spot.

However, the women's title match at Wrestlemania is not likely to become a multi-woman title match. The creative team has kept the chaos in the storyline since they intentionally want to keep the fans in confusion. A report from PWInsider.com gave an update on the same.

According to the source, WWE Raw women's championship match will indeed be a singles competition. Asuka will choose Alexa Bliss to face at Wrestlemania over the Smackdown women's champion, Charlotte Flair to make it confirmed. The announcement is likely to happen once Fastlane PPV is over.

On March 11th, The Queen of Smackdown will compete in a title match against Ruby Riott. The winner will be confirmed to head into Wrestlemania as the title-holder. So, Asuka will choose from the two options when both the champions are confirmed after the Smackdown-exclusive.

As for now, the Empress of Tomorrow will continue her rivalry with Nia Jax. The Samoan behemoth will get another chance to end Asuka's streak on the next edition of WWE Raw. But, there's no way she is going to break it since the undefeated one will go into Wrestlemania with her dominant streak intact to throw the toughest challenge to Alexa Bliss.
