Reason behind Triple H’s recent in-ring appearances in WWE

Bengaluru, November 24: Since the past few years, Triple H was seen in action only during the Wrestlemania season, but, off late, he has been seen wrestling very often in the WWE.

The Game's schedule has been a different one this year as we have seen him feature in numerous main event matches including the one at the 30th annual Survivor Series PPV event.

His comeback match took place during WWE’s tour to South America where he was called on an emergency basis to replace a marquee star.

In that tour, superstars like Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, and Kevin Owens were all unable to perform due to different circumstances. Hence, the officials had to take the call to bring in Triple H.

His return to in-ring action continued as he was further included in the United Kingdom tour where he was replaced Roman Reigns who was unable to perform due to a meningitis virus infection. It turned out to be a dream for the fans as the 14-time world champion acted as a third member of The Shield.

Recently, The Cerebral Assassin of the WWE had an interview with The USA Today where he was asked about the reason behind his recent in-ring appearances. Being a corporate officer in the company, he has to deal with the managerial duties. But, the EVP of talent relations revealed that it has always been special for him to work inside the ring. Check out his quotes,

“Hey, this is fun.' One night I'm working with Rusev, the next night I'm going up twerking with the New Day, the next night I'm in the ring with the Shield. I heard a lot of fan comments when we were there, people say 'It's really cool, this is so special.' They have no idea how special it's been for me."

Triple H turned out to be the sole survivor for Team Raw at Survivor Series who led Team Red to victory. If the recent announcements are any indications then he will feature in two more big matches in December.

During the Abu Dhabi Live event, he will wrestle Roman Reigns in a Wrestlemania rematch whereas, in India, he will have another dream match against Jinder Mahal. Now, that’s what veteran sportsmanship is, even at the age of 48.
