Result of fourth WWE Mixed Match Challenge on Facebook

Bengaluru, February 7: Over the past couple of weeks, the viewership for the Mixed Match Challenge has seen a significant decline which is why WWE came up with an added star power for last night's edition.

A fan voting was hosted on Facebook to decide the special guest referee of the night. They got to choose between Daniel Bryan and Kurt Angle for the spot.

The Smackdown General Manager was chosen by voting who opened up the show, last night. It marked the fourth week of this special live show on the social media platform. Previously, three teams advanced to the second round of the tournament. A newly formed team from WWE Raw took on a real-life couple from Smackdown Live.

Jimmy Uso and Naomi competed against the brand new pair of Goldust and Mandy Rose. After Alicia Fox got injured, the member of the Absolution was chosen to take her spot to form this interesting team also known as Rosegold. They have been all over social media for the last few days gaining all attention from the fans which was quite good for the show.

Plus, a romantic angle was also rumoured to happen between the two to attract more fans. This continued even on last night’s match that delivered a fun match to the fans. Goldust and Jimmy Uso started the match with the initial showdown. After that, Jimmy kissed his wife, Naomi which left Goldust wondering whether he should kiss Mandy, too.

While being in this thought, Jimmy tried to pick up the win with the roll-up but failed. Aftermath, Mandy was tagged into the match to the pleasure of the audience. She slapped Naomi hard in the face which allowed her to comeback with some fired-up moves.

Mandy was forced to tag back Goldust after which the contest was quickly finished in the following way in the favor of Jimmy Uso and Naomi:

“In the height of the intense showdown, Naomi leaped over the top rope and around Goldust to level Mandy and take her completely out of the contest. This opened the door for The Glowing Superstar to hit the Rear View on The Bizarre One before Jimmy finished him off with an earth-shattering Uso Splash off the top rope for the impressive victory.”

After the match, Rusev and Lana appeared at ringside to cut a promo on their scheduled match for next week’s Mixed Match Challenge. They are scheduled to take on the team of Bayley and Elias from WWE Raw.
