New Delhi, Nov 25: The Clash of Champions PPV will be the last special event in WWE calendar for 2017. This year, the event that generally takes place following Summerslam was placed at the very end of the year. This is going to be a Smackdown-exclusive event. The TD Gardens in Boston, Massachusetts will be the host to it.

Going forward, the exciting Royal Rumble PPV will kick things off in the year 2018. This is that particular dual brand show that also begins the Road to Wrestlemania. Next year too, there will be no exception. The PPV that will crown the headliner of the biggest event of the year will return to the city of Philadelphia in 2018.

Apart from this opening PPV, we now know about the remaining list of the WWE PPV events for the entire year 2018. The Facebook page of The 434 revealed the schedule which is as follows:

• Royal Rumble (Dual Brand): January 28 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

• Elimination Chamber (Raw): February 25 at Las Vegas, Nevada

• Fast Lane (SD): March 11 at Columbus, Ohio

• Wrestlemania 34 (Dual Brand): April 8 at Nueva Orleans, Louisiana

• Backslash (Raw): May 6 at Newark, New Jersey

• Payback (SD): May 27 at Baltimore, Maryland

• Money in the Bank (Dual Brand): June 17 at Chicago, Illinois

• Battleground(Raw): July 15 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

• SummerSlam (Dual Brand): August 19 at Brooklyn, New York

• Extreme Rules (Raw): September 16 at San Antonio, Texas

• Hell in a Cell (SD): September 30 at Nashville, Tennessee

• TLC (Raw): October 21 at Boston, Massachusetts

• Survivor Series (Dual Brand): November 18 at Los Ángeles, California

• Clash of Champions (SD): December 18 at San José California

According to the reports from PWInsider.com, the Money in the Bank PPV will be an extra dual brand show in 2018 where both Raw and Smackdown roster will be seen participating. Generally, the big-four events (Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, Summerslam and Survivor Series) are hosted as a co-branded event. Next year, we will get five instead of four.

Another notable change in the list is the placement of Extreme Rules event. It is generally hosted just after the Wrestlemania season. But, as you can see the No Mercy PPV was withdrawn from the list and will be replaced by the mentioned PPV in September. Another event that was put to rest is the Great Balls of Fire PPV following the controversy around it in this year.
