Bengaluru, Febraury 17: Roman Reigns has now surpassed 900 days as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and he's reminded us all about the warning that he passed on, over 900 days ago.

WWE posted a congratulatory message and a poster featuring Roman Reigns on Twitter after the tremendous accomplishment. The Superstar, who rules the roost in the WWE, re-tweeted the picture with the quotes: "I told you over 900 days ago this would happen..#GreatnessAmongstYou [the one emoji]".

Roman Reigns won the Universal Championship on August 30th, 2020 at WWE Payback Premium Live Event, by defeating Braun Strowman and The Fiend in a Triple Threat which marked his overall fifth world title win.

On April 3rd, 2022, in the main event of WrestleMania 38 Night Two, he defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship to unify both these titles and become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

At present, there are only four men in history who had held the World Title longer than The Tribal Chief during a single reign.

Longest Title Reigns in WWE

- Pedro Morales (1027 days)

- Hulk Hogan (1474 days)

- Bob Backlund (2135 days)

- Bruno Sammartino (2803 days)

As of February 16, Roman Reigns officially reached the 900-day mark with the Universal Championship. This also means that he currently has the longest WWE world championship reign in over 30 years.

During these bygone 900 days, he had defended his title 26 times against top talents such as Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, and more.

His most recent title defense came against Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble 2023. In order to reach the 1,000-day landmark as champion, he'll have to retain the Undisputed Title, twice, at Elimination Chamber and then at WrestleMania 39.

The former member of The Bloodline, Sami Zayn, will challenge Reigns at Elimination Chamber on February 18, with the undisputed titles on the line. Title retention will allow the champion to walk into his third straight WrestleMania with the titles.

In that case, The Head of the Table will stand across the ring from the 2023 Royal Rumble winner, Cody Rhodes who is the popular choice for many of the WWE fans to be the one to dethrone Reigns from his historic title reign.
