Roman Reigns’ Possible Role Revealed For WWE Royal Rumble 2025
Roman Reigns has returned to WWE television from SummerSlam 2024 onward. Working on a limited schedule through weekly shows of Friday Night SmackDown, he'll also make an in-ring return at tonight's Bad Blood premium live event.
Teaming up with her long-time rival Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns will take on the tag team of The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a match that's also been touted to be the main event of Bad Blood.

Reports also affirm that The OTC will attend the next WWE premium live events, Crown Jewel and Survivor Series in November 2024 which should be followed up with next year's first PLE, WWE Royal Rumble 2025.
The official poster for the Big-Four event has dropped, and it features none other than Roman Reigns in the middle which sparks speculation about his role in this particular show where he already experienced some infamous moments.
In a recent Backstage Pass Live Q&A hosted by WrestleVotes, fans got some scoop about it as the source mentioned that Roman Reigns is expected to be part of the main-event Royal Rumble match itself instead of competing in a singles contest.
"From just the short questions that I asked that I got back, he's probably more likely to be in the Rumble for the first time in a while as opposed to a singles stand-alone match... Roman's on the Rumble poster, likely to be in the Rumble match."
If Reigns does enter the 2025 Royal Rumble match, then it will perfectly commemorate the ten-year anniversary of his only Rumble match win dated back in January 2015 in Philadelphia amid intense fan backlash.
Furthermore, this would also mark Reigns' return to Rumble for the first time in a men's Royal Rumble match since 2020, where Drew McIntyre emerged victorious by eliminating him. He was among the final duo from the 2017 through the 2020 Rumble match.
Moving on, the top WWE Superstar's Royal Rumble appearances in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 were all part of his historic Undisputed WWE Universal Championship reign. In the latest, he defended in a Fatal-4-Way against AJ Styles, LA Knight, and Randy Orton.
