Ronda Rousey confirms having no plans of WWE return

Ronda Rousey had a memorable run with the WWE in 2018-19 where she was utilized to be a marquee attraction on Monday Night Raw every week. That run ended at WrestleMania 35 and her celebrity spark was also gone, thereafter.

Away from the WWE for almost a year, The Baddest Woman on the Planet is gearing up for her book Our Fight's release slated for April 4 where more insights were offered into her time with the company.

During an interview to promote the book, Ronda Rousey was asked to speak about some "backstage stuff" within the WWE. Her response was pretty interesting where she also confirmed of not having any intention of returning to the company.

"How much of an absolute sh*t show it is at the WWE because they can't hold the story over my head and hold me hostage with my own career. I don't need anything from them and I don't intend on going back."

Staying true to her furious character, Rousey didn't hold back either to former WWE Boss Vince McMahon and his trusted partners, Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis. In her below comments, she absolutely blasted the former head-honchos of the company.

"In MMA, I originally just started them for publicity, but those other *itches did not get the memo, and so they became personal. And in WWE, it's all fake - I love them. Except for Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis. They can go f**k themselves."

These comments come in the light of The Wall Street Journal report after a lawsuit filed by Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis that brought allegations of s*x trafficking against McMahon.

As for Ronda Rousey, she made a triumphant return to the WWE at Royal Rumble 2022 by winning the Rumble and her career lasted through SummerSlam 2023 where she was defeated by bestie Shayna Baszler.

During her WWE tenure, Ronda Rousey achieved remarkable success, capturing the WWE Raw Women's Title and becoming the-then longest-reigning champion with the belt. This win was further followed by WWE SmackDown Women's Title, and the WWE Women's Tag Team Title wins.
