Ronda Rousey reportedly considering one last MMA Fight at UFC 300 after WWE exit

Bengaluru, August 29: Proving the speculations true, Ronda Rousey made her WWE departure, earlier this month and she's not coming back, anytime soon. If the latest reports are to go by then, there's rather a chance to see her back in Octagon.

Earlier this month, Ronda Rousey battled Shayna Baszler in the very first MMA Rules match in WWE at SummerSlam 2023 from Ford Field in Detroit. Baszler won the match via Technical Submission by passing out her former bestie with the Kirifuda Clutch.

After the match, The Baddest Woman on the Planet noted on Instagram how Baszler was the reason that she began a WWE career and she's no regret concluding her second WWE stint after losing to Baszler.

Now, in a career update, a source close to Ronda Rousey informed Daily Mail that Rousey wants to be done with the WWE to make a return to MMA for one more fight which could be happening next year at UFC 300.

"She [Ronda] just had a match at SummerSlam and is looking to wind down her time and commitments with the WWE and she is now focusing on potentially making a run to have one last fight in the UFC and compete at UFC 300."

It was also noted how the former WWE Raw Women's Champion is considering options from Hollywood, next as she's more interested in the mainstream world. In the meantime, she wants to have one more child in the future.

On that note, UFC President Dana White previously said the following about Rousey's potential return to his company in an interview with Sports Illustrated and provided a negative update for the MMA fans.

"Her dream was to win a UFC Championship, then win a WWE Championship, and she's done it. Now she's starting a family. Ronda has made so much money, and she's still making a lot of money in sponsorships."

Time will tell whether the first-ever signee to the UFC promotion eventually makes her return to the company or not. She is also the first-ever female inductee in the UFC Hall of Fame from the year 2018.

Once possessing an undefeated streak of 10-0, Ronda Rousey would ultimately end her tenure in UFC with the record being 12-2. At UFC 193 on November 15, 2015, Holly Holm handed her the first loss to win the UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship.

Then in her last fight at UFC 207 on December 30, 2016, Rousey wanted to reclaim her championship only to be TKO-ed by Amanda Nunes in just 48 seconds. A year later, she jumped ship to WWE to begin a career in pro wrestling.
