Bengaluru, February 13: Last night’s WWE Raw was the penultimate episode before the Elimination Chamber PPV event. Some big announcements were made on the show for the upcoming PPV to make it even more interesting.

Kurt Angle appeared inside the ring to brief the crowd on the status of his son, Jason Jordan who is dealing with a neck injury and he also gave a breaking news about Ronda Rousey.

The former UFC Bantamweight Champion showed up at the bygone Royal Rumble PPV creating a volatility amongst the women’s division. We were yet to know about the details of whether she had officially signed a contract with the WWE (on a kayfabe note) or what is going to be her role on the female roster.

Well, it looks like that we might get to know all that and much more on February 25th at Las Vegas, Nevada since Ronda Rousey will be present at the Elimination Chamber PPV. According to the words of the Raw general manager, Kurt Angle, the mainstream sportsperson will sign an official WWE contract on that night in front of the audience.

There have been a lot of speculation about her opponent at Wrestlemania which might also be revealed that night. Charlotte Flair was the most likely name that might get to face her at the grandest stage of them all. But, since, Ronda is signing a Raw-exclusive contract, this match might be held back, for now.

The newest member of the women’s division is bound to bring some mainstream attention to help the Elimination Chamber PPV be a success. In recent times, the EVP of talent relations and good friend of Ronda Rousey, Triple H asked the behemoth name from the MMA industry to start training at the WWE performance center.

“She’ll finish up this movie, and then she’s in. She’ll be at the Performance Center, she’ll be training and working with us every day. And we’ll see where it goes.

"It is not for lack of desire or motivation if anything. The two times she has been at the Performance Center training, we’ve had to try to get her to back off because she will train all day and all night if we let her.”
