The 2024 edition of Royal Rumble has just passed by this weekend and we now have two Rumble match winners from the men's and women's sides who will go on to main-event WrestleMania 40 in April.
Bayley and Cody Rhodes won the respective Royal Rumble matches from the female and male rosters and they will now choose their title match opportunities at the Show of Shows. En route to their historic wins, they made new records as given below:

- Cody Rhodes won the Men's Royal Rumble Match to become the second-only WWE Superstar to have won two back-to-back Rumble matches. Previously, Stone Cold Steve Austin won the 1997 and 1998 editions of Royal Rumble matches.
- Not only did Bayley win the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble but she also set the record for the longest time spent in a single Women's Rumble match. Below given are the top three women on this list:
Bayley wrote the following about her victory on Instagram, "No words. All da feelings. 63 minutes, 3 seconds." During the post-Rumble press conference, Bayley stated that it was an honor to start The Rumble match with Natalya and Naomi.
- Liv Morgan made her return to the WWE from an injury by entering the Women's Royal Rumble in the number 30 spot. She was injured after brutally getting attacked by Rhea Ripley on a summer episode of Raw.
With this appearance, Morgan and Natalya have now competed in the first seven women's Royal Rumble matches starting in 2018. They also broke Tito Santana's record of competing in the first six Men's Royal Rumble matches.
Liv Morgan has also turned out to be one of the two final names on the two consecutive Women's Royal Rumble matches who ended up short. Previously, Roman Reigns featured in that same spot during the 2017 and 2018 Men's Rumble matches.
- Reports from Fightful Select also inform that WWE touched down a significant milestone at Royal Rumble 2024, experiencing its highest viewership in the history of this particular PLE. It also witnessed the largest audience for any PLE in history, excluding WrestleMania.
