Bengaluru, August 13: The rumour mill is on the hype with the speculations of a potential Brock Lesnar Vs Jon Jones bout. The feud between these two athletes started to pick up ever since 'Bones' won the lightweight championship against Daniel Cormier at the UFC 214 PPV.
Jones picked up a dominant victory over the former champion, DC in the third round of the fight to emerge as one of the most dominant performers in the history of Mixed Martial Arts fights. Following the win, he did the unthinkable to challenge none other than the reigning Universal Champion of the WWE.
The directed one took no time to response accepting the challenge building up the match between a UFC and a WWE superstar. Ever since then, WWE.com noted the topic on multiple occasions adding to much more speculation.
Recently, the UFC champion teased it with another picture on his Facebook account. As you can see in the post, it is a poster featuring the two concerned superstars that are supposed to lock horns in a UFC PPV match in future. As expected, the fans are drooling over it.
Also, on twitter, Jones gave a big hint to be present at the Summerslam event to take a closer look at the beast incarnate. On August 20th, the latter one will be defending his Universal title against three other elite superstars from the WWE namely Roman Reigns, Samoa, Joe and Braun Strowman.
A fan asked Jones on Twitter whether he will be present at the summer's biggest event and the champion came up with a positive answer. Interestingly, WWE noted this altercation on a Youtube video to keep up the speculations ongoing.
Considering these two are highly accomplished athletes on their respective fields, the match is a dream bout, without a doubt. However, in real scenario we are not going to see it, sooner due to both these men under contract with different promotions.
As of now, Brock Lesnar's contract will be up for grabs following Wrestlemania 34 which means he can return to the octagon, only after that. So, we have to wait until the next summer to witness this mega collision.
