Rumour: Mick Foley to get fired from WWE

RAW General manager Mick Foley set to get fired from WWE as per rumours.

By Raja

Bengaluru, Mar 18: The heated confrontations between Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley have been a regular scene on Monday Night Raw for months.

It was evident that they will soon reach a certain point where they would no longer co-exist. That apparently happened on Raw, last week which will cause Foley to get fired from the flagship show by the commissioner.

These arguments between these two have been part of the storyline so that WWE can portray Foley's kayfabe exit from the WWE.

In reality, it is something else which is forcing Foley to get sidelined from the company for a long time, supposedly.

As per reports from various sources, Mick Foley's days are numbered in the WWE. This might take place in the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw, as well.

Since the commissioner is a natural heel, it is expected that the new GM would also possess the babyface character, similar to Foley.

Foley himself gave an update on the social media suggesting that he would soon undergo a major hip surgery and possibly lose his job. This is what he has posted on Facebook regarding the same:

“I'll be getting my right hip replaced whenever I have a break in my schedule. The bad news is that a hip replacement will not allow me to fly for about six weeks, due to potential blood clotting issues - which can be fatal.

Really nothing to play around with. The good news is that the GM position doesn't offer much in the way of long-term job security - so that break might present itself as a natural course of events."

The same source has also suggested that Kurt Angle is the most probable name that is being nurtured by the creative to replace Foley. WWE wants to use him as a major star power on the flagship show.

Since he is not supposed to perform regularly inside the ring, this is the most suitable post for him. Plus, he has previous experience of working in the same post.
