Bengaluru, December 1: Recently there has been a plenty of tension among the authority figures on both Raw and Smackdown. It all started on the blue brand when Shane McMahon attacked the Raw brand before Survivor Series without consulting with Daniel Bryan.

Just one week later, Stephanie McMahon returned to Monday Night Raw to confront Kurt Angle to start another storyline. Being two completely opposite on-screen personas, it was expected that they will not be able to coexist and that’s what exactly happened on the show.

In addition, Stephanie’s husband, Triple H also made his return to be inserted into the Survivor Series PPV. During the match, he turned his back on his own teammate, Kurt Angle by hitting him with a pedigree. Apparently, this is said to set up a match between the pair very soon. Plus, this angle will also build into a bigger storyline comprising both the shows.

According to the reports of cagesideseats.com, a huge power struggle is reserved as we head towards the Royal Rumble PPV, where Kurt Angle will not be happy with the actions of a heel commissioner Stephanie McMahon. So, he will start working with the rival brand commissioner, Shane McMahon against the power couple of the WWE.

Daniel Bryan will be inserted into the mix as well. Shane will try to keep him as the general manager of Smackdown Live while Stephanie also wants to name him as the new GM of Raw.

The indication of the same was given in a backstage segment of Survivor Series where the billion dollar princess stated that whenever Shane is out of the scene, Bryan will be in sole control of the things in Smackdown.



For weeks now, it is being speculated that one of the Smackdown authorities will turn into a heel persona and Shane was the one who was expected to be the transitioned character. However, the new updates suggest that it might be Daniel Bryan who could pick up a villainous gimmick and join forces with the Raw commissioner.
