Bengaluru, March 12: Bray Wyatt challenged Woken Matt Hardy for a fight on last week’s episode of WWE Raw. This is expected to be the last chapter in the rivalry between the bizarre superstars. It was the Woken one who first hinted of a possible a match at the Hardy Compound, to which the Eater of the World accepted to enter the native land of Hardy, via Twitter.
This confirmed that the match will happen, sooner rather than later. The question remains as to when this match known as Ultimate Deletion will be aired on WWE television. This is a unique match concept in the WWE where the match will be a pre-taped and broadcasted on our screen in non-live format.
A report from PWInsider.com gave some updates of this upcoming match, it stated that the much-anticipated match between Woken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt will take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Raw. This might turn out to be the main event matchup for the episode to be hosted at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
This definitely means that the match has already been filmed this past Thursday, March 8th. The Hardy Compound at North Carolina was the spot where several such gimmick matches took place when the Hardy Boyz were under contract with Impact Wrestling promotion.
This will be the second time that such a match would take place on WWE TV. The first time was the House of Horrors match at the Payback 2017 PPV. Additional details of this match from the source hinted that a former Impact Wrestling creative head was also present during the recording. Check out the updates from SportsKeeda.com,
“Furthermore, it’s being noted that longtime TNA/Impact Wrestling executive and current WWE employee Jeremy Borash was also present at the Hardy Family Compound—contributing to the proceedings. Especially, given that he was also heavily involved in the production of the Broken Universe storyline and Hardy Compound segments in Impact Wrestling.”
Borash recently signed with the WWE to work under Triple H. It is expected that under his guidance, Hardy and Wyatt will compete in a match to remember for ages. Shawn Bennett was the referee to call things down in the middle. We expect to get this match, official as soon as WWE Raw is aired, tonight.
