Bengaluru, March 19: Every year, the main event match of Wrestlemania is declared much earlier than the other matches. This helps to set up the event in a huge way as the build-up for the final match on the card becomes smoother to execute with the time available from a storyline perspective. However, it can change depending on several situations.

Currently, Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar is slated to be the main event, this year in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is for the prime championship match from the flagship show. In general, most of the time this particular title match becomes the closure for the biggest event. It should not be any different this time also.

But, right now, WWE officials might have to rethink while they set up the match card for Wrestlemania and make the orders of the matches. A lot of controversies have happened surrounding this Universal Championship match. The main concern of the company is that Roman Reigns has been accused in a drug-dealing case.

His name is said to be linked with the dealer, Richard Rodriguez. WWE does not tolerate this, at all. Hence, if the superstar is proven to be guilty then there will be severe consequences. He will be moved from the main-event spotlight. Apparently, a backup plan has been made by the officials.

According to a report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon taking on Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey will be the replacement of the previous main event match. The presence of the former two Olympians in this match might help this match to gain attention that is needed in a marquee match.

It is interesting to see that there will be another championship match at Wrestlemania which is not considered to be on the main event spot. Despite AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura being a dream match, the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the world is not willing to give them the spotlight.

The only option that remains apart from these matches is the match between John Cena and The Undertaker. After waiting for 15 years, this match is finally expected to happen in the WWE.

In case, WWE officials consider that a mixed tag team match will not be suitable to go down last at Wrestlemania match card then The Deadman and the franchise player will take the spot.
