Bengaluru, February 18: Tomorrow night will mark the final show of WWE Raw before we get to the brand-exclusive pay-per-view, Elimination Chamber which is set to create history on the night. For the first time ever, there will be a women’s division Chamber match that will decide the fate of the Raw Women’s Championship held by Alexa Bliss.

From the men’s division, Kurt Angle made a huge announcement, last week to make a first-ever seven-man Elimination Chamber match. Over the years, this match featured only six superstars. This year, one additional superstar beiing added means that there might be some changes in the cage structure.

It is almost certain that we will be having huge teasers heading into the Raw-exclusive PPV on this Monday Night. This is why a huge main event match has been confirmed via WWE.com. According to the official announcement, a gigantic gauntlet match has been announced for Raw.

All the seven members competing in the Elimination Chamber match will get their chances to gain momentum for this Sunday night while competing in this match. It will be contested between John Cena, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Elias, The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. Check out the confirmation from WWE’s official website,

“For the first time ever, seven Superstars will compete inside the Elimination Chamber next Sunday, with the winner going on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. However, this Monday night on Raw, those same Superstars will square off in a huge Gauntlet Match ahead of their history-making Chamber clash, WWE.com can confirm.”

The rules of a gauntlet match says that two superstars start the match. They are chosen on a random basis. Once a superstar gets pinfall or submission victory, the third superstar enters to take the winner of the previous contest. This continues until the winner of the last match is decided.

It has to be noted that the first two superstars to enter the mix get the least advantage while the last one has the most, of course. The rules are quite similar to that of the Elimination Chamber match and hence the fans will get a sneak preview of what to expect next Sunday. It is going to be a chaotic affair in the main event of WWE Raw when it comes live at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
