Bengaluru, Oct 8: Fans are excited to see the athletic Shelton Benjamin to return to the WWE after the WWE Draft. WWE confirmed about his homecoming by channeling a returning promo on Smackdown Live.
However, all the planning regarding him suddenly got nixed when he was detected with an injury. His return was postponed to an uncertain extent. He was detected with a shoulder rotator cuff injury for which he has to undergo a surgery and is out for at least 6 months.
Recent reports suggest that the Chairman of the Board, Vince McMahon and the COO, Triple H, both are excited to see the golden standard back in the WWE and have some major planning. Apparently, he will be part of a shoot stable, on the blue brand and it's a long-term planning.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Benjamin will be part of a stable alongside Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. This will be in an effort from WWE's part to recreate WCW "Varsity Club" stable featuring Rick Steiner, Mike Rotunda, Steve Williams, Kevin Sullivan and Dan Spivey.
This is the main motto of bringing back Jack Swagger to Smackdown Live from Raw. Ziggler too will continue with his failures in the upcoming months. These two will like to find a way to be back on track with Benjamin returning to the scene.
