SmackDown 2025 Telecast: WWE has confirmed some changes for the Friday Night Show as the company's longest-running show - Monday Night Raw will premier on Netflix from the start of next year.
WWE and the major OTT platform Netflix had announced a long-term partnership that will bring WWE's flagship weekly program - Raw - to the world's leading entertainment service at the start of 2024.

The deal between the two parties marked a major programming shift as Raw, which airs on the USA Network till it moves completely to Netflix from January 6, leaves linear television for the first time since its inception 31 years ago.
The Red brand will shift to Netflix in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Latin America, among other territories, with additional countries and regions to be added over time. Netflix will also become the home for all WWE shows and specials outside the U.S. as available.
As part of the agreement, Raw and WWE's other weekly shows - SmackDown and NXT - as well as the company's Premium Live Events, including WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble will also be available on Netflix later.
As it stands, only Raw will air on Netflix according to WWE's statement, meaning the other shows and the premium live event of January will have different homes for fans in the United States. There was also one notable change to SmackDown programming in the latest statement.
In addition to noting Raw's move to Netflix beginning January 6, WWE has confirmed that SmackDown will continue to air on the USA Network and the Friday Night Show will be three hours as of the beginning of 2025.
"SmackDown continues to air on USA Network every Friday night at 8/7 C in the U.S. At the start of 2025, SmackDown will expand to three hours starting with the Jan. 3 episode from Phoenix, Arizona," read WWE's statement on their website.
Apart from SmackDown retaining the USA Network as it's home, the company has also revealed that NXT will continue to air CW every week, while Royal Rumble 2025 as well as WrestleMania 41, SummerSlam and all the other WWE PLEs will continue to stream LIVE on Peacock in the United States.
