Ever since Goldberg showed up at the WWE Bad Blood premium live event in early October to have a staredown with GUNTHER, the IWC has been pretty busy finding out about the returning match of the former WCW franchise player.

With Crown Jewel PLE waiting on the WWE calendar, many believed that Goldberg would be heading to Saudi Arabia to have the anticipated match against The Ring General but WWE's plans seem to be a bit different.

During the Live Q&A session with Bill Apter and WrestleVotes, host Joe Lowry asked about WWE's creative take on the potential bout between Goldberg and GUNTHER. The response he received was that plans had already fallen in place for the match before Bad Blood.

As such, Goldberg will be there at Crown Jewel to build some sort of angle with GUNTHER in Saudi Arabia that in turn will set the stage for their eventual match at Survivor Series set for late November.

WWE has previously announced GUNTHER vs. Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel 2024 in a champion vs. champion scenario to crown the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion which ruled out Goldberg and GUNTHER's showdown at the PLE in the first place.

Moreover, Survivor Series will be a fitting place for Goldberg to return to action as he's long been looking for one final match in the company that he was promised by Vince McMahon, a couple of years ago.

Back in 2016, The Myth returned at the same annual WWE event in Canada after a hiatus of almost 13 years from in-ring competition. This year, the Big-Four PLE again emanates from Canada at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Goldberg hasn't competed in a WWE match since facing Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022 in Saudi Arabia and it appears Survivor Series 2024 will be the next and possibly the final time, we'll see him, live in action on November 30.
