The Bloodline Rules Match is set to return at this year's SummerSlam set to go down within a few hours from now. The already announced WWE Title main event for the premium live event will now be a stipulated match.
The opening segment of the latest bygone episode of SmackDown saw WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and challenger Solo Sikoa coming face-to-face in the ring with The Bloodline's Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa also joining the latter by coming through the crowd.

Solo stated in his promo that the previous Head of the Table for The Bloodline, Roman Reigns was a weak Tribal Chief but unlike him, he is strong and wants his match against Cody at SummerSlam to be a Bloodline Rules Match.
Cody said he's not scared of any of the heel faction which is run by a 'wannabe Tribal Chief' and accepted the challenge. Thus, Cody vs. Solo at SummerSlam was reaffirmed to be contested in this No-DQ capacity.
The first-ever Bloodline Rules Match took place at WrestleMania XL Night Two. The Rock & Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins in a tag team match on the Night One of the show and earned the stipulation for the main event for the next night.
In that Bloodline Rules match, Cody Rhodes ended up defeating Roman Reigns to become the Undisputed WWE Champion. Interferences by The Bloodline in Cody's opposition were thwarted by the likes of John Cena, Seth Rollins, and The Undertaker.
Solo Sikoa earned the opportunity to face Cody Rhodes for the WWE Title after he pinned the champion in a tag team match at last month's Money in the Bank premium live event in Toronto.
As for SummerSlam 2024, the biggest WWE PLE of the summer season will emanate from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, tonight. The updated match card following this week's SmackDown goes as follows:
