MAMI is coming back for the title at SummerSlam 2024 premium live event that she never lost in the first place. After throwing down the gauntlet on this week's Raw, she got a positive response to set up a much-anticipated championship match.
In the opening segment of the July 15 episode of Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley kicked things off and stated that she missed 3 months of her career due to Liv Morgan and that Liv is walking around with something that's hers, the Women's World Championship.

Rhea wasn't focused on getting back with Dominik but rather she called Liv out to the ring. This led to Dominik coming out to big boos from the fans while Liv showed up on the titantron.
In a heel promo, Liv mentioned that she kissed Dominik and what they have is more real than what Rhea once had with Dom. In response, Rhea challenged Liv for the Women's World Championship at SummerSlam 2024.
Morgan said she always knew this would be the end game for the duo and hence she accepted the challenge. While Liv hoped Dominik would be there for her at SummerSlam, Rhea vowed to end Liv's career at the biggest event of the summer.
Ripley has been out of action since April 2024 after suffering an injury during a backstage altercation with Liv, a week after WrestleMania XL. The mishap caused her to vacate the Women's World title and she made her return on last week's Raw.
In her absence, Liv and Dominik started acting like an on-screen couple and they were also caught in another cozy moment on last night's Raw before Rhea came out and caused Liv to bail out through the audience.
Rhea then told Dominik to go back to the ring for his match against Jey Uso who took advantage of the distraction for a win. Backstage, Rhea further told that "Dominik is hers" in a proposition where they can be considered as a couple, again.
The 2024 SummerSlam WWE premium live event will take place at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, August 3. Following this week's Raw, the four confirmed matches for the annual show are given below:
