SummerSlam 2024: Spoiler on major return and championship changes at WWE PLE

SummerSlam 2024, the second-biggest WWE premium live event of the year will go down later tonight from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio with the WWE Championship Match possibly serving as the main event of the night.

The earlier announced Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam was re-affirmed to be contested under The Bloodline Rules on the latest bygone episode of SmackDown. This will ensure a No-DQ capacity where The Bloodline members can interfere in favor of Solo.

Back at WrestleMania XL Night Two, the first-ever Bloodline Rules match went down culminating in some earth-shattering returns that helped Cody Rhodes to end Roman Reigns' record 1316-day WWE Title reign and send the latter to a hiatus.

It appears that WWE announced the second Bloodline Rules Match at SummerSlam to make way for Reigns' return. WrestleVotes reports that the former Undisputed Champion will return and prohibit Solo's pledge to remain The Tribal Chief.

"With the impending return of Roman Reigns, sources state one of the discussed ideas is focused around Reigns claiming to be 'The Original Tribal Chief' in response to the last few months of Solo Sikoa's proclamations."

In the other matches announced for SummerSlam 2024, we might be up for a night with multiple title changes on the card. The 2024 King of the Ring winner Gunther is the favorite to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, per released betting odds by BetOnline.

Subsequently, the 2024 Queen of the Ring winner is also surprisingly the favorite to become the new WWE Women's Champion. The Intercontinental and the United States Title should also receive new holders. At a glance, the released odds are given below:
