For the second time in their career, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Damian Priest will go one-on-one with the title hanging in the balance at the 2024 Survivor Series premium live event, later this month.
The World Heavyweight title match for the final WWE premium live event of the year was made official on the latest bygone episode of Monday Night Raw, in which the champion and the challenger came face-to-face for a confrontation.

Gunther and Priest engaged in a verbal war on Raw, which was further interrupted by the former's cohort, Ludwig Kaiser. Priest not only took him out but also defeated him in a match later in the night on Raw.
According to WrestleVotes' reports, this match would be a historic occasion in history as the two star-powers from Raw would end up main-eventing the final two Big Four WWE premium live events of a calendar year in a first-time scenario.
Gunther won the King of the Ring 2024 tournament in May and then defeated Priest for the world title at SummerSlam in August to begin his championship reign on Raw. Survivor Series will mark the rematch between them.
In the headliner match of the November 4 episode of Raw, Damian Priest defeated Dominik Mysterio, Sheamus, and Seth Rollins in a Fatal-4-Way match to become the new Number-One Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Priest was thus guaranteed to receive an opportunity to face Gunther for the World Title and Wrestling Observer previously assumed that they would collide at Saturday Night's Main Event in December. But, WWE preponed the title bout for Survivor Series.
The 2024 WWE Survivor Series premium live event, the final PLE of the year will take place at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Saturday, November 30 with the current match card:
