Dubbed as one of the modern-day pioneers in Women’s Evolution in professional wrestling, Saraya’s return to in-ring competition in All Elite Wrestling was hailed as a milestone instance back in the summer of 2022.
Two years later, the anti-Diva is barely used in physical capacity inside the squared circle which already raised concerns about her status in the company. Plus, she herself seems upset over her weekly booking which mostly showcases a weak character.

Saraya was scheduled to face Mariah May on AEW Dynamite this week, and the match was promoted on multiple platforms since this would have been her first singles match of 2024 after she competed against Riho in December of last year.
Without any reason, that match was postponed to next week’s Dynamite and it was further replaced by Mercedes Mone's in-ring Dynamite debut and first TBS Championship defense against Skye Blue after the latter interrupted Mone's championship celebration.
In light of this happening, Saraya took to Twitter and expressed that it was about time to speak her mind. While she would end up deleting that tweet, a picture of herself slowly disappearing was also posted.
This led many of her fans to speculate that she isn’t happy with her status in AEW and that maybe it’s time for her to leave the company. Interestingly, Saraya's Twitter bio read “iteee imma head out” before it was changed to “hi.”
Saraya’s frustration could be attributed to the recent reports of Bryan Alvarez from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which suggests that AEW President Tony Khan, the promotion's booker, has been changing the scripts of shows at the last minute,
"Most people, not just the wrestlers, have no idea what they're doing until the day of the show. People are flown to towns and given nothing to do, others are begged the day before the show to please get to the town so they can do something last-minute."
Since arriving in the AEW, Saraya’s career peaked when she won the Women’s Championship at All In PPV in her home country of the United Kingdom, last summer. But since dropping the title in the fall, she barely got the chance to wrestle.
