A lot of speculations were running regarding Drew McIntyre and his future with the WWE, and the confirmation finally came on the company's part via none other than The Rock on his social media account.
On his Instagram post, The Rock wrote, "Man of my word. As you're a man of yours - Congratulations @dmcintyrewwe on signing your new @wwe deal" to ensure that the UK-born star performer will remain with WWE for years to come.

The Great One also had a humorous take over his inability to personally deliver the gift to McIntyre due to prior engagements but he extended his congratulations to the top Raw Superstar. Also, he wished to have a celebration in the future.
But fans shouldn't expect to see McIntyre on WWE programming under his new contract as he's dealing with an injury. He has worked hurt with a badly hyperextended elbow on the recent UK tour. Per PWInsider, the situation will need some time to get healed.
"Drew McIntyre will not be back on TV immediately as he is still recovering from his badly hyperextended elbow. He received a lot of respect from WWE for working through the issue over the course of last week's UK Tour."
There's no update on how long The Scottish Warrior will be absent from TV but he would eventually remain with the WWE after engaging in "a lot of back and forth" during the contract negotiation process.
The newly signed deal has been described as a multi-year, big money" contract that one source believed to be intact for the coming three years starting from now onward. The assumption is that McIntyre will remain with the promotion until April 2027 unless he is released.
There are hopes that McIntyre will be healed and able to compete in time for WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland. The June 15 show will be in Glasgow and fans in the country are eagerly waiting for the home-town favorite to be on the card.
