Top WWE Smackdown superstar set to be out of action

Bengaluru, November 27: On the latest episode of Smackdown Live, we witnessed three NXT superstars making their debut. It was Ruby Riot, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan who showed up as a team to lay down an assault on the prime names of the female roster.

They started with an attack on Naomi in the backstage area when she was getting ready for the night. But, the trio introduced themselves to beat the hell out of her. Later, they also ruined the championship match between Charlotte Flair and Natalya as both the participants were ambushed by the trio inside the ring.

But, Becky Lynch was the one who took the most in the attack by the debutants when she came to rescue Naomi during the attack and was outnumbered by them.

The new faction attacked her with a chair before slamming the mid-section into an open door. Then she was dragged through the corridor with the doors continuously hitting the already injured ribs. Apparently, there’s a big reason behind this particular attack.

As per reports from WrestlingNews.co, Becky Lynch will be busy filming The Marine 6 movie alongside The Miz. Hence, she is not expected to feature on Smackdown Live for the next couple of months. The WWE Studios production takes five to six weeks to be filmed. Hence, she might be absent from the blue brand until Royal Rumble.

So, the attack was to write the Irish Lass-kicker off WWE TV, for now. The former Smackdown women’s champion did not have any momentum on her side at all. Hopefully, she can make an impact when returns to the show after the hiatus.

Meanwhile, WWE.com confirmed the upcoming Marine franchise movie named Close Quarters with the following updates,

“WWE Studios and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions today announced that the two studios will partner again to release the upcoming action film, “The Marine 6: Close Quarters,” directed by James Nunn. The film will feature The Miz, Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.”
