Bengaluru, Jan 29: It was perhaps the most exciting two hours of Royal Rumble matches in recent memories from this exciting PPV.

The show over-delivered, for sure according to the Twitter-verse. Rightfully, the women’s Royal Rumble match ended the show craving us for more. None other than Ronda Rousey made her debut to end the night after Asuka won the historic match heading towards Wrestlemania.

Technically, it was a good call by the officials to let the Empress of Tomorrow win as Asuka vs. Ronda Rousey will be a hell of a main event from the women’s division. However, we should note that there’s a certain Charlotte Flair is also in the mix, as well who will be gunning for the spotlight, too.

In the men’s division Royal Rumble, the winner was quite expected too, in the form of Shinsuke Nakamura. He won the matchup much to the pleasure of the Philly fans who were disturbed to see Roman Reigns in the final two.

But, it was The Artist who won the match indicating that he will be going for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 34. WWE officials made a great choice by letting two of the Japanese superstars win the respective Rumble matches.

The two title matches were kept short but meaningful adjusting to the night. The confusion will continue over on Smackdown Live as the official took yet another bad call ffavouringStyles.

Over on Raw, Brock Lesnar is still the champion after a chaotic main event match possibly to find Roman Reigns standing in his way. Names like Hurricane, Rey Mysterio, Adam Cole and Cien Almas were big surprise names which were pretty good choices.
