Update on Brock Lesnar’s injury at WWE Survivor Series

Bengaluru, November 26: Brock Lesnar was part of a dream match at the Survivor Series PPV where he met the WWE Champion, AJ Styles in a cross-brand champion vs champion match.
This was one night in the year where the prime champion from Raw goes head to head against the prime champion from Smackdown Live to reign supreme over each other.
By virtue of this setup, we received this awesome match which we thought would never happen. The match over-delivered as it's hard to be part of a lackluster match when you compete against none other than AJ Styles. However, Lesnar overcame the resistance put by the Phenomenal one.
At one point during the entertaining match, Styles was able to injure the lower portion of the leg of his opponent. Brock Lesnar was seen hurt and was later locked in the Calf Crusher by the WWE Champion for a significant amount of time.
Although it was a single F-5 to Styles that ended the match, the Universal Champion was not able to walk properly due to the injured knee. After the match finished, he was seen limping towards the backstage area. Since he is a beast, the fans were in doubt whether it was a legit injury.
Reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggested that Lesnar was dealing with a knee injury picked up during the Styles match. The injury might have occurred after Styles put the Calf Crusher on him. But, the recent report from cagesideseats.com suggests otherwise.
The source suggested that it was a complete 'work' of the veteran pro-wrestler which means he was pretending to be injured. He was so good at it that even at the backstage area, he was seen limping which is why the superstars in the locker room also considered him to be hurt. In a time when it has become tougher to maintain kayfabe on TV, Lesnar pulled off a trick to fool the WWE universe.
For now, he will stay away from WWE TV for two months. It is expected that the Conqueror will come back around the Royal Rumble season. At the first dual-brand PPV of the year, he is expected to put his Universal Championship on the line.
