Bengaluru, November 23: WWE confirmed the return of the Starrcade show earlier this year and it will be hosted this weekend as a Smackdown-exclusive show. This event has a special memory for the old era fans and hence they will enjoy it to a big extent with the old gimmick attached to it.

In case you didn’t know, this particular show was always considered to be the Wrestlemania event for the WCW promotion. Later, Vince McMahon bought the company and this PPV became extinct. This year, it is set to return to its hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina.

The American Dream Dusty Rhodes was the innovator of the show while names like Ric Flair, Ricky 'The Dragon’ Steamboat, The Rock n Roll Express made the show achieve fame. The Greensboro Coliseum on November 25th is the place to be to witness this historic event.

Previously, WWE had announced the entire match card for the show to sell out the tickets. But, now that two new prime champions have been crowned on Smackdown Live, the lineups for the night saw a big change.
