Vince McMahon set for WWE Smackdown Live return next week

Bengaluru, September 6: Smackdown witnessed a dream main event between Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton last night. However, the whole limelight of the night was stolen by none other than Kevin Owens. He stuck to his usual antics since the beginning of the show leading to another confrontation with Shane McMahon.
The bonafide heel showed his true character by going extremely personal berating Shane's kids names on live TV. This forced Shane to lay his hands on Owens which was wrong. As a result, Vince McMahon instructed Daniel Bryan to suspend the commissioner for an indefinite period.
Owens was gloating with confidence once this news arrived. He promised to ruin Smackdown Live going forward, all until the blockbuster news of Vince McMahon returning on Tuesday Night was shared with him.
The show ended with this mega news that the Chairman will be present on next week's show to address the fallouts from this week. This will be the first time in a long time that the Boss is to show up on the blue brand. He is expected to reveal Shane's future after what transpired last night.
With this news, the show is definitely shaping up to be worth a watch next week. Next week's Smackdown will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. So, the creative will try hard to put up a packed show from the sin city.
The last time Vince McMahon appeared in a WWE programme was on WWE Raw. It was the post-Wrestlemania episode of the flagship show where he returned to name the new Raw General Manager and to also confirm the superstar shakeup. This time around, he is expected to give some big news as well regarding his son's WWE career.
This news of McMahon returning will definitely boost the ratings for the Tuesday Night show. The next PPV in line from the Smackdown brand is still a month away and hence this hype was much needed for the show. Apart from this segment, there will be three championship matches on next week's Smackdown.
