Bengaluru, February 15: Charlotte Flair has been targeted by the Riott Squad ever since the trio moved to the main roster from the NXT. That has continued on the blue brand for the last couple of months with Charlotte not being involved in any of the championship matches in recent memory. The bad blood grew to a whole new level when they almost cost her the title by knocking her out.
On the post-Royal Rumble episode of Smackdown Live, Riott Squad assaulted Charlotte which then allowed Carmella to cash in on her Money in the Bank contract, but she failed in her attempt to beat the champion.
Last week, she defeated Liv Morgan in style and targeted the next one from the squad in the form of Sarah Logan who was decimated, this week. The faction definitely did not take these consecutive losses, easily and challenged Charlotte and her two sidekicks, Naomi and Becky Lynch to a tag team match.

It is a huge match that is expected to set the platform for a potential championship match for the second-nature. She has not been involved in a title storyline for over two months and is currently without a challenger for her belt and the upcoming match may lead to crown one in the coming weeks.
Apparently, the creative team does not want Charlotte to be pinned by any member of the Riott Squad in a singles match as this would harm her dominant status. But, they can do it by virtue of this tag team match where her team's communication could break down and Ruby Riott, the leader of the faction will get to pin her.

This, in turn, might set up the next Smackdown Women's championship match at the Fastlane PPV on March 11th. Till date, we have received only the WWE title match in a fatal-5-way match. This six-woman tag team match will probably pave the way for another marquee match for the last brand-exclusive PPV before Wrestlemania 34.
