Bengaluru, February 25: The 2018 Elimination Chamber PPV is almost upon us. Once again, WWE is trying to host this one a bigger way and attached a historic tag to this event. The women's Elimination Chamber match will be a first-time ever affair whereas the men's division matchup is no less with seven men competing in it for the very first time.

This is an interesting way to keep the fans in confusion with more superstars into the mix. However, the hardcore fans who love old-school wrestling might not be much interested in this contest considering that it is the Wrestlemania season. This is the time when Vince McMahon put aside all the logic aside and brings Roman Reigns into the main event spotlight.

At least, that has been the tradition for the last three years and there's no way that it will change, this time, too. This norm continues despite the fans immense hatred towards the Big Dog. But, the company does not have a second choice. Especially, when it comes to selling out the biggest event of the year, they need the most tested player around.

So, who better than Roman Reigns in this spot? Say whatever you want to say about him but this is the man who works the hardest every to give the fans back their money. Even if he is not liked, he remains the focal point, always. So, the fan backlash is not much of a headache for the company, at all.

The officials always want more reactions from the fans and nobody but the three-time WWE Champion can bring it with the least effort. Hence, putting him into the tv-screen boosts the ratings like no one else. Negative feedbacks to him is not an issue since the previous franchise player, John Cena dealt with the same, too.

Lastly, Brock Lesnar has been undefeated for the last one year to reach a level where only Roman Reigns can topple him from the throne. Can you say one such name that can match up to the caliber of the beast incarnate to challenge for his Universal Championship? The honest answer is no as WWE did not build any such character for Lesnar except for Reigns.



Hence, whatever the fans might think, the tradition of Roman Reigns main-eventing Wrestlemania will not change. He has once sold out the biggest 'Mania of all time, two years ago and can do it for multiple years in the upcoming years. So, the advice for the WWE Universe would be that they should be getting ready to enter into the Roman Empire as he should walk out of the Elimination Chamber as the clear-cut winner.
