Why Roman Reigns’ promo on WWE Raw was an absolute gem?

Bengaluru, March 1: The creative genius about WWE is that whenever fans think of pulling the trigger by canceling the WWE Network, they have made them rethink. The tradition has continued for the last few years.
Every time, a portion of the WWE fans go on a rant just around the Wrestlemania season about Roman Reigns getting the main event slot in Wrestlemania.
This year, it was the same after The Big Dog won the Elimination Chamber match and booked his spot against the universal champ Brock Lesnar. This is the rematch from three years ago which actually started the norm. So, it did not take a long time that the #cancelwwenetwork was back on top of the trending list.
However, WWE managed to bounce back with a mind-boggling segment which featured on this week’s WWE Raw. It was a simple promo from the man in-concern, that allowed him to speak from his heart. This made the pro-wrestling world go ga-ga over it. For those who think that the former WWE Champion does not have good mic skills, need to watch it again.
The promo from Roman Reigns was good since Brock Lesnar who was actually scheduled to confront Reigns never showed up on WWE Monday Night Raw. So, what his Wrestlemania opponent did was highlight the irresponsibility shown by the prime champion of the flagship brand.
Noting that the beast incarnate does not have any love for the WWE, he was able to make the fans understand that how hard he works, every single day to reach the level he has attained at the company.
It is an incredible fact that Seth Rollins spent 65 minutes in one single night on the February 19th edition of Monday Night Raw. On the other hand, Brock Lesnar has wrestled merely 55 minutes in the entire 2017-18 season. This is bound to make the fans think who they should root for at this upcoming Wrestlemania in the Universal Championship match.
Furthermore, Roman Reigns also confirmed that the Conqueror was present in Las Vegas during the Elimination Chamber PPV. But, he had the audacity not to show up in the show. Rather, he was busy being pictured with UFC president, Dana White.
This certainly shows why Roman Reigns is THE GUY in the WWE, and not Brock Lesnar. The hardcore wrestling fans find it hard to believe that the Samoan superstar is the franchise player of the company. But, this promo should be able to change their perception which could in turn help the Wrestlemania main event.
