Bengaluru, August 21: Wrestlemania 40 will be the next biggest premium live event for the WWE in next year's April which expectedly needs star powers to make things a success. It appears that WWE has now managed to secure their top-most attraction Brock Lesnar for the event.
The Beast Incarnate had a physical match with Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam in Detroit earlier this month at Summerslam where Rhodes came out on top with the win in the match as well as in the feud.

After the match, Lesnar shook his bitter rival's hand, hugged him, and then raised his arm, which wasn't a scripted segment but rather the veteran endorsing the current top babyface player of the WWE Raw brand.
Moving on from Summerslam, there were speculations about Lesnar's status especially given that he's open to retirement at this point. However, fans also noticed that regular faces on the WrestleMania 40 poster do include him.
This essentially confirms that the biggest box office attraction will still be appearing for the Show of Shows, next spring and so will Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair.
According to Xero News, Brock Lesnar signed a new 1-year deal with the WWE during the WrestleMania 39 week. The backstage belief is that this might be his final WWE contract as an active wrestler.
There are no details available on the tenure and capacity of the contract but rumours also suggest that WWE would want the top attraction to retire at Wrestlemania 41 in 2025 as the show will take place in his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
For the time being, Brock Lesnar will remain to be a WWE Superstar and he will be back on either Raw/Smackdown TV depending on the creative plans. Until next year, his appearance schedule should look as given below:
1. Backlash 2023 - Lost to Cody Rhodes
2. Night of Champions 2023 - Defeated Cody Rhodes
3. SummerSlam 2023 - Lost to Cody Rhodes
4. Crown Jewel 2023
5. Royal Rumble 2024
6. WrestleMania 40
No confirmation is available regarding Lesnar's return to WWE TV but the company reportedly has plans for him for the build-up to the Royal Rumble next year that will take him through WrestleMania 40 season.
