WWE's WrestleMania 40 plans reportedly went through a massive change following Seth Rollins suffering a torn MCL during his World Heavyweight Championship Match, last week. Now, it appears that it was the company itself that was trying to mislead things.
As always, WWE's creative team doesn't want to leak out the information regarding the top matches scheduled for the Show of Shows. Going by the latest updates, they have partially been successful in spreading false news around them.

Yesterday, Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated reported that plans for multiple WrestleMania 40 matches have changed. The news also included a change in the Men's Royal Rumble match winner. At a glance, the alterations are given below:
In an update, Justin from SI is reporting that all of the above-mentioned "new plans" were false information planted by his source, and WWE intentionally misled them by channeling those storylines on TV during the go-home Royal Rumble Raw episode.
"It appears this was a deliberate attempt at misinformation, or misinformation that is being spread through WWE itself. I apologize for the errors in yesterday's report. When posting these reports, the entirety of the information needs to be accurate."
It wasn't informed if Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes or CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins are still in the pipeline to be the two top storylines heading into WrestleMania but things will be clear once Royal Rumble passes by this weekend.
