WrestleMania 40 teaser trailer officially released by the WWE

We're officially on the Road to WrestleMania 40 and the hype packages for the event will continue to be dropped to amp things up. The latest one of those has arrived in the form of the official teaser trailer of the WWE Premium Live Event.

Over on social media as well as on YouTube, WWE has released the teaser trailer of WrestleMania XL featuring the WWE Champion Roman Reigns, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, 2024 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes and The Rock.

WWE's Chief Content Officer Triple H tweeted the following about this trailer by stating the following, "We're taking WrestleMania XL to a whole new level. Are you ready?" He was also a part of the teaser trailer.

Over on this past week's episode of SmackDown, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H alongside Raw and SmackDown General Managers, Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis, addressed the ongoing WrestleMania 40 main event controversy.

Triple H made it clear that Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, now dubbed as only the WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes in the main event of the WrestleMania 40 premium live event.

This comes after The Rock was chosen by Roman Reigns to deliver a dream main event match on the Grandest Stage of Them All. However, Cody in aid of his Royal Rumble match win, got to pick his opponent.

Cody also blasted The Rock and Roman Reigns as they come from the renowned Samoan family only to receive a slap to the face from The Great One which was considered to be a heel-turn by the WWE Universe.

Bollywood film star Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram to share his feelings about this 'Hollywood Rock' gimmick, "Heel rock is the reason I became a fan of u. Nation of domination the way Rocky maviaa began to take over wwe."

As the WrestleMania main event controversy continues, it has been confirmed that Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, The Rock as well as Triple H will be under one roof on this week's SmackDown in a massive confrontation segment.
